Recently, two types of crystalline silicon PV modules developed by Gokin Solar have successfully passed authoritative tests by the China Photovoltaic Testing Center (CPVT) and obtained energy efficiency certification under the mandatory national standard GB 47834-2026 Limit Values and Energy Efficiency Grades for Crystalline Silicon PV Modules and Inverters. Among them, the GK-3-72HGF-670M full-screen monofacial module has achieved Class 1 Energy Efficiency, the highest grade in the industry, while the GK-4-66HTBD-645M bifacial double-glass module obtained Class 2 Energy Efficiency certification. The robust performance of the products has once again gained national official endorsement.
As China’s first mandatory national standard targeting energy efficiency of PV modules, GB 47834-2026 sets stringent assessment thresholds around two core dimensions: photoelectric conversion efficiency and coupled environmental stress decay rate, to comprehensively evaluate the power generation performance of modules throughout their lifecycle. Class 1 Energy Efficiency represents the highest tier defined by the standard and serves as the gold benchmark to measure the power generation capacity and long-term reliability of PV products.
The Class 1 certified GK-3-72HGF-670M full-screen monofacial module belongs to the GBC Full-Screen series. Adopting N-type GBC back-contact cells and a 144-cell full-screen layout design, it reaches a maximum power of 670W with a conversion efficiency up to 24.8%. The full-screen process maximizes the light-receiving area and delivers excellent shading resistance. Its first-year power degradation is merely 1%, with an annual degradation as low as 0.35% from Year 2 to Year 30. Backed by a 15-year material & workmanship warranty and a 30-year linear power warranty, it stands as the preferred solution for large-scale ground-mounted power plants pursuing high energy yield and strong return on investment.
The Class 2 certified GK-4-66HTBD-645M double-glass module adopts N-type monocrystalline technology, boasting a maximum power of 645W and conversion efficiency up to 23.9%. Its bifacial double-glass structure captures diffuse ambient light for extra power gain. With outstanding temperature coefficient, PID resistance, sand resistance and weather resistance, it reliably adapts to diverse application scenarios including commercial & industrial distributed projects and complex mountainous sites.
The certification was issued by CPVT, a national authoritative testing institute, after full-scale physical testing strictly in accordance with the mandatory national standard, with rigorous and credible test data. Acquisition of the two certificates marks that Gokin Solar’s modules fully comply with China’s latest national energy efficiency regulatory requirements, laying a solid compliance foundation for market expansion.
Upholding the brand philosophy of "Craftsmanship Creates Excellence, Light Unleashes Full Potential", Gokin Solar leverages its integrated industrial chain advantages to continuously advance innovations in high-efficiency PV technologies. Going forward, Gokin Solar will continue to refine products under stringent standards and deliver high-quality, highly reliable PV solutions for the global new energy market.
