Gokin Solar Shines at ENERGY EXPO 2026: Bringing the High-Efficiency Answer of N-Type to Eastern Europe
Publisher: Gokin Solar Release time: 2026/09/28

September in Bucharest — autumn is just beginning, yet the energy industry is warmer than midsummer. From September 24 to 26, ENERGY EXPO 2026 was held at the ROMAERO Exhibition Center in Bucharest, where Gokin Solar showcased multiple N-type modules, completing an in-depth dialogue with the Eastern European market.

01

Love at First Sight: A Full-Screen Masterpiece of Residential Aesthetics

Among the many exhibits, the GK-3-54HGFDb full-black full-screen dual-glass module was undoubtedly the first to catch the eye. The product adopts 108 N-type GBC cells, with all grid lines and ribbons integrated on the rear side — the front is completely free of grid lines and ribbons, presenting a uniform, pure black appearance. Delivering 500W at dimensions of 1800×1134mm and a weight of just 24.8kg, it combines performance with installation convenience; conversion efficiency reaches 24.5%, with first-year degradation of only 1% and 0.35% annual linear degradation from year 2 to 30, backed by a 25-year materials and workmanship warranty and a 30-year linear power warranty. Operating temperature range: -40℃ to +85℃. For Eastern Europe's growing demand for building-integrated PV, this product captures a simple truth: the rooftop is both a power-generating asset and the face of the building.

The Efficiency Champion: A BC Answer for C&I Rooftops

For commercial and industrial rooftop applications, Gokin presented the GK-4-66HGBD high-efficiency GBC full-cell dual-glass module.Delivering 670W with 132 N-type GBC cells in a full-cell layout, it achieves conversion efficiency of up to 24.8% within standard dimensions of 2382×1134mm — more capacity on the same rooftop. The back-contact structure leaves the front free of electrode shading, significantly reducing power loss under partial shading. The product carries a 15-year materials and workmanship warranty and a 30-year linear power warranty, with first-year degradation of 1% and 0.35% annual linear degradation from year 2 to 30; dual-glass construction with anodized aluminum alloy frames and a maximum front static load of 5400Pa make it fully capable of handling the temperature swings and winter snow loads of Eastern Europe's continental climate.

Power Rules: TOPCon for Utility-Scale Plants

For the utility-scale market, Gokin brought two FLAMINGO-series TOPCon bifacial dual-glass modules. The GK-2-66HTBD delivers 740W with its large format, further reducing land and racking costs; the GK-4-66HTBD delivers 640W. Both feature a bifaciality factor of 80±5%. Built with N-type monocrystalline cells and dual-glass construction, the modules offer a temperature coefficient of just -0.29%/℃ and withstand maximum static loads of 5400Pa on the front and 2400Pa on the rear, having passed hail tests with 25mm-diameter stones at 23m/s impact velocity, ready for the demanding outdoor conditions of utility-scale plants. From PV parks in southern Romania to large-scale bases on the Eastern European plain, "lower LCOE" remains the first language of project developers.

On September 26, ENERGY EXPO 2026 closed in Bucharest. Over the three days, project developers, installers and industry partners from Romania and neighboring markets engaged in in-depth exchanges on the technical parameters, application scenarios and cooperation models of Gokin's full-black modules, high-efficiency BC modules and high-power TOPCon modules.

Going forward, Gokin will continue to leverage its N-type high-efficiency technology to provide local customers with full-scenario PV solutions covering residential, C&I and utility-scale applications. The global energy transition is accelerating — and Gokin's N-type answer has already been written on the stage of Eastern Europe.
