The 19th International Photovoltaic and Smart Energy (Shanghai) Conference & Exhibition (SNEC 2026) recently kicked off with great fanfare. Gokin Solar made a powerful appearance, showcasing a range of its hardcore products.

Superior Silicon Wafer Technology:
Empowering Quality from the Source
For high-standard photovoltaic manufacturing, outstanding final product quality is not achieved through a single breakthrough at the end of the line, but through a systematic capability that begins with materials, runs through the entire process, and is implemented across the full workflow. Gokin Solar’s stringent pursuit of source quality starts right with its silicon wafers.
At the exhibition, Gokin Solar set up a dedicated silicon wafer display area, visually presenting its technological craftsmanship.
Compared to conventional silicon wafers, Gokin Solar's wafers exhibit significant advantages across several key metrics: minority carrier lifetime is 5% higher than the industry average;oxygen content is 0.5ppm lower than the industry average; and size uniformity leads the industry by over 20%. Behind these core metrics lies the company's comprehensive strength in material quality control, process stability, and large-scale manufacturing capability.

Product Portfolio Showcased,
with Comparative Experiments as the Booth’s Focal Point
At this year’s SNEC, Gokin Solar set up two comparative experimental setups in the central area of its booth. Through real-time comparative validation, the company transformed technological advantages from “parameter descriptions” to “on-site witnessed proof.”
On-site Anti-Shading Performance Test
In real-world PV applications, shading is a major cause of power loss and hot-spot risk in modules. Addressing this industry pain point, Gokin Solar conducted a side-by-side anti-shading test between its 72-cell BC modules and conventional modules.
As identical simulated shading conditions were applied, the output differences under partial shading scenarios between the different technology routes were visually demonstrated. Thanks to its unique circuit layout and cell structure with an integrated bypass diode function, Gokin Solar’s BC module exhibited lower power degradation and more stable power generation.
On-site Self-Cleaning Performance Test
In outdoor environments, dust accumulation can reduce module transmittance, affecting power generation. Focusing on the long-term outdoor operation scenario, Gokin Solar set up a comparison between its 54-cell BC modules equipped with conventional glass versus hydrophilic glass, both placed in a simulated water spray environment.
At the experiment site, visitors could clearly observe water forming columns and dripping down the surface of conventional glass, while water on the hydrophilic glass surface quickly spread into an even film and rapidly slid off, carrying away surface dust and stains. This intuitive comparison powerfully demonstrated that hydrophilic glass achieves superior self-cleaning performance and long-term aesthetic durability. This is not only a breakthrough at the material level but also a reliable practice by Gokin Solar to enhance the full lifecycle power generation performance of its modules through continuous innovation.
Multiple Modules Also on Display
In addition to the comparative experiment devices, Gokin Solar independently exhibited several representative high-efficiency modules covering diverse application directions, systematically presenting its ongoing exploration and forward-looking layout in product development and scenario adaptation across different technology routes.
03
Technical Seminars Gain Momentum,
Deepening On-Site Exchange
During the exhibition, Gokin Solar simultaneously held specialized seminars on its BC products, offering in-depth analyses of product design, core advantages, and application scenarios. Using intuitive data and detailed technical explanations, the company answered on-site questions about how its BC modules ensure long-term reliability and return on investment in diverse and complex scenarios, further enhancing the professional exchange atmosphere.
04
Authoritative Certification Endorsement,
Solidifying Quality Foundation
Concurrently, at its own booth, CPVT issued Gokin Solar a Compulsory National Standard Compliance Verification Test Certificate (for photovoltaic module safety requirements). This certificate signifies that the company’s modules have fully met the national mandatory standards for key criteria such as electrical safety and structural reliability.
This serves as both an endorsement of product quality by an authoritative institution and a powerful testament to Gokin Solar’s ability to provide reliable guarantees for global customers in demanding environments.
At this year’s SNEC, Gokin Solar is continuing to write a new answer for high-quality PV manufacturing with its more solid manufacturing capabilities and more reliable product systems.
